Understanding Dementia

What is dementia?

Mental ability is equally as important as physical activity for quality of life. With the passage of years, thinking ability may start declining along with physical strength. Also, cause a gradual decline which is a normal part of aging.
However, there are some neurological diseases in which the decline in thinking and mental ability is so much that it begins to hinder everyday activities. Even the simplest of chores might start seeming difficult, and ultimately the sufferer may become dependent and helpless; such diseases are grouped under the general term—’DEMENTIA.’
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia.
